How to get there
By train
Train from Snow Hill to Stourbridge Junction and then to Stourbridge Town. The Institute is 1/4 mile walk from the station.
By car
From the Stourbridge ring road turn right at the traffic lights by the Crystal Leisure Centre. You are recommended to park in the Institute carpark or if that is not available, in the Tesco carpark which allows free parking for 4 hours in the evening.
Alternatively street parking is available on Lower High St., High St., and Market St.
The entrance to the club is on Bell Street off Market Street. Walk past the barriers into the member only car park, opposite the Crystal Leisure Centre.
The entrance is on the opposite side of the building to Market Street, directly under the neon sign. The Chess room is on the left side of the building.
Please note that the institute is a private club and parking is normally restricted to members only.
Visitors are advised to park in the Tesco carpark as close to the entrance ramp as possible. From there exit through the pedestrian exit, go up the steps and follow the walk way to Bell St. Turn left on Bell St. ,and the entrance to the Stourbridge Institute is on your left.
Any visitors with mobility issues should contact the Stourbridge team captain to arrange for access to the institute carpark or alternatively phone the institute bar on arrival at 01384 394368.
NOTE: The Ryemarket car park closes at 8.30pm
